Calling all Melon Heads!!!
Join Watermelon Slim & The Workers in Memphis on Wed, May 6th at the new Ground Zero Blues Club
just a block south off Beale St. So come on down
for some real Memphis juke joint fun. You never know who will show up and
sit in that night. Also, please buy your tickets before they sell out and attend the BMA show in Memphis on
May 7th. Slim & The Workers are scheduled to be the "Grand Finale" for the
BMA show. So plan to stay late that night and you wont be disappointed.
Also, please check out Slim & band in Clarksdale & Jackson on May 8 and 9th.

Hey Melon Heads, please offer a warm welcome to Chris "Stovall" Brown, the newest member of The Workers. Stovall, long time Boston buddy of Slim, will take on the job of drummer, along side Cliff & Ronnie. Check out his bio here.
Slim and the band will be touring extensively in Europe, Australia and North America in 2009.

Blues Fans: Slim's drummer, Michael Newberry, is now touring with Bill Lupkin.
We all love Michael and will miss his fantastic abilities as drummer and road mgr.
We wish Michael the best of luck and we will surely miss him. Don't worry Melon Heads!
Cliff and Ronnie are still in the band. And of course, the one and only Watermelon Slim is stage center. Look for an announcement soon as Slim has already
invited a dear old friend to join him as the new drummer for Watermelon Slim & The Workers.
